The .437" bore and 6" hand-hammered gold brass bell give the horn a warm, shapely sound with a clear core that doesn’t disappear in the mix. The traditionally brazed bell seam, soldered bead, and gold brass first branch add complexity and stability, so your sound stays full and connected from the softest ballad to the top of the staff. A yellow brass leadpipe bit with a Large Morse taper offers excellent compatibility with modern mouthpieces and a fast, predictable response.

Hand-lapped Monel pistons with nickel-silver outer tubes deliver smooth, reliable valve action built for serious playing. An ergonomically designed third-slide trigger lets you dial in pitch on the fly without fighting the horn. Finished in lacquer and paired with a custom case and care kit, this is a flugelhorn that’s ready for real work right out of the box.
