The S.E. Shires Q19G Professional Flugelhorn pairs Shires’ modern build precision with the warm, centered character artists expect from a serious gold brass flugelhorn.

At the heart of the Q19G is a handspun 6-inch Q19 gold brass bell, built with a traditionally brazed seam and soldered bead. The gold brass bell gives the instrument its rich core and broad tonal color, while the .437" bore and yellow brass leadpipe bit provide a balanced, efficient feel across the registers.

The three-piston valve cluster features nickel-silver outer tubes and hand-lapped Monel pistons for smooth, dependable action. An ergonomically designed third-slide trigger gives the artist practical control over intonation without interrupting the natural feel of the horn.

Finished in lacquer and supplied with a case, 3F mouthpiece, and maintenance kit, this Q19G is new with the full manufacturer’s warranty.
