This Olds Opera Bb trumpet is an exceptionally clean example of one of the more distinctive professional instruments produced during the Fullerton era.

The Opera sat near the top of the Olds trumpet line and was built for professional players who wanted the characteristic Olds response and craftsmanship in a more specialized model. This example, serial number 424xxx, dates to approximately 1963 and remains in excellent condition, with nearly 100% of its original lacquer intact and only minor cosmetic blemishes.
