1959 Mt. Vernon Bach Mercedes Cornet

This cornet was built in 1959 in Bach’s Mt. Vernon factory.  The design is similar to Bach’s Stradivarius line, but features all-brass construction.  The bore size is .453 and it has a 38K bell.  The lacquer is in very good condition, if the horn was refinished it was extremely well done as the original engraving is very sharp.  A copy of the original shop card for the horn is included.  The horn has bronze valve ballusters and has an adjustable third valve ring as originally ordered.  Includes case.
