Conn 60B “Sixty-B” Trumpet in Lacquer with Original Case & Accessories – 1969 – Excellent Condition

The Conn 60B “Sixty-B”, officially known as the Super Connstellation, was introduced in 1967 and produced into the early 1970s. Designed for the professional player, the 60B featured a #1½ bore (0.458″), lightweight construction, and a completely new acoustical and mechanical design. Its top-spring valves and interchangeable finger tips gave it a distinctive feel and flexibility.

This model was play-tested by professionals including Buddy Childers and Gene Goe, and its design was guided by Conn clinician Jerry Franks, who received the very first prototype. Conn’s own 1966 catalog described it as “the most versatile, the finest trumpet ever created by Conn … ideal for studio, recording, solo or band work.”

This particular horn dates to 1969 based on its serial number. It is in excellent condition, with lacquer finish well preserved, and comes with its original Conn case with protective cover, paperwork, and accessories—a rare complete package for this model.
