J. Callet Soloist B♭ Trumpet – Excellent Condition

Building on the success of the Callet New York series, the Soloist was Jerome Callet’s first fully professional trumpet in both design and construction. Developed in collaboration with Kanstul in California, the Soloist combines Callet’s innovative acoustical design with Kanstul’s renowned craftsmanship.

This example features a one-piece, 4 7/8″ hand-hammered bell modeled after the classic Benge design, a heavyweight receiver, and a specially tapered leadpipe, all designed by Jerome Callet himself. The .470″ bore, stamped on the second valve casing, provides an expansive, open blow while maintaining excellent focus and slotting.

Known for being one of the most centered, in-tune, and powerful extra-large bore trumpets ever made, the Soloist is well suited to big band lead, Latin, and R&B work, especially for players who use a lot of air and prefer a big, full sound.

This trumpet is in excellent condition with only minor signs of use.
