The GR Najoom line was developed through a collaboration between Dennis Najoom of the Milwaukee Symphony and Gary Radtke, bringing together distinct design elements to meet the needs of today’s professional trumpet players. All Najoom mouthpieces incorporate GR’s Natural Response concept, offering pure attacks, accurate intonation, evenness across all registers, and a balanced, resonant tone.

The 1NC Star model features the flatter N rim, designed for a comfortable feel with a defined bite. Its full cup supports a rich, centered sound with enhanced core overtones, making it a versatile choice for all-around playing. The “Star” variation refines efficiency and responsiveness, providing a secure feel with greater tonal consistency.

This mouthpiece is in excellent condition, hard to find in this shape, and is no longer in production.
